Terms & Conditions
Effective 1 August 2026
These terms govern your use of the Referral Hospital & Research Centre website. By accessing or using this site, you agree to these terms in full; if you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. These terms apply to every visitor, including patients, attendants, and anyone browsing on their behalf.
About This Website
This website is an informational and appointment-enquiry platform for Referral Hospital & Research Centre (RHRC), Chabua, run by the APPL Foundation. It does not provide telemedicine, online consultations, or online payment for medical services — every appointment, treatment, and payment happens in person at the hospital.
Eligibility & Use by Minors
This website is intended for use by adults acting on their own behalf or on behalf of a patient in their care. If you submit a form for a minor or another dependent — for example, a pediatric appointment, or a grievance on behalf of a family member — you confirm that you are authorised to do so.
Use of Enquiry & Contact Forms
When you submit a form on this site (Book Appointment, Contact, Feedback, Grievance, or a department call-back request), you agree to provide accurate information so our team can reach you. Submissions are forwarded to our team through a third-party form processor and are not a substitute for calling us directly in an emergency.
Appointment Requests Are Not Confirmed Bookings
Submitting the Book Appointment form is a request, not a confirmed booking. Your appointment is confirmed only when our team contacts you with the date, time, and consulting doctor. Department, doctor, and OPD-day availability shown on this website can change without notice — please confirm current availability with our team before travelling to the hospital, especially if you need a specific consultant.
Accuracy of Website Information
We take care to keep department listings, OPD timings, doctor names, and facility information accurate and current, but errors or delays in updating the site can occur. Where there's any conflict between this website and information given to you directly by hospital staff, the information from hospital staff takes precedence.
Medical Disclaimer
Information about departments, conditions, and services on this website is provided for general awareness only and is not medical advice, diagnosis, or a guarantee of treatment outcome. Always consult a qualified physician for any health concern. Browsing this website, or submitting an enquiry through it, does not by itself create a doctor-patient relationship — that relationship begins once you consult a doctor in person at the hospital.
If you or someone with you is experiencing a medical emergency, call our 24×7 helpline or go to the nearest emergency department immediately — do not wait for a response to a form submitted on this website.
Acceptable Use
When using this website, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information when submitting a form
- Not impersonate another person or misrepresent your relationship to a patient
- Not attempt to access, scrape, or interfere with the website's systems or another visitor's information
- Not use the website for any unlawful purpose or to transmit harmful code
- Not submit abusive, threatening, or defamatory content through any form on this site
User-Submitted Content
If you share a testimonial, review, or feedback with us and agree to let us publish it, we may use it on this website or in hospital communications, with your name or anonymised as agreed with you. You remain responsible for the accuracy of anything you submit.
Accessibility
We aim to make this website usable for visitors using assistive technology. If you have difficulty accessing any information or form on this site, please contact us using the details below and we will help you complete your request another way, such as by phone.

Indemnification
You agree to hold RHRC and the APPL Foundation harmless from any claim or expense arising from your misuse of this website or breach of these terms.
Limitation of Liability
While we make every effort to keep this website accurate and up to date, RHRC and the APPL Foundation are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on website content, or from delays or errors in a form submission reaching our team.
We are also not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including internet outages, third-party service disruption, or other events of force majeure.
Grievance Officer
For a legal or compliance concern about this website — as distinct from a patient-care grievance, which is handled under our Grievance Redressal Policy — you may write to Hospital Administration using the contact details below, and we will respond as required under applicable Indian law.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
